Rough Trade Project - The Only Easy Day (SEAL Team)

This is one of my projects for Rough Trade in July. It's The Year of the Sentinel over on RT, and July's theme is bonding, so this will be a Sentinel/Guide bonding story. The main pairing is Jason/Clay, but it's NOT slash. Theirs will be a platonic pairing as it's an idea I want to explore and a break from the traditional fan interpretation of bonding. This is also a new fandom for me. I used characters from SEAL Team in my Nano project last fall (The Country of the Heart), and I also wrote a short story for Fluff Bingo last month (Special Cargo), but this will be my first lengthy story in this fandom. I'm looking forward to digging in to these characters.

Rough Trade Project - Beyond Reason (Star Trek)

This is one of my projects for Rough Trade in July. It's The Year of the Sentinel over on RT, and July's theme is bonding, so this will be a Sentinel/Guide bonding story. This one is set in the Kelvin Timeline, immediately following the events of Stark Trek Beyond. I gave serious consideration to making this a threesome, but ultimately I felt like the story was best served by the focus being on Jim and Nyota bonding. I'm pantsing this one to a degree, so the characters will dictate where this one goes moreso than my other July project. We'll see how well that works, since I hate not having a complete outline. /shrugs/
