I am an avid reader and writer, mostly a sci-fi junky, but I also enjoy military and police dramas as well. I live in California, and enjoy some of the best weather on the planet. That said, I'm not much of an outdoor person. I love walking on the beach, but I can't sit still long enough to get a tan (chances are I'd burn anyway, so what's the point).

I love traveling--London is my favorite international city, but as far as regions go, Provence is a heavenly place to spend a few weeks. Being from California, I also love wine and food, though I try to go off the beaten track to find the best of both. They grow garlic not far from my home, and I actually attended the Gilroy Garic Festival for the first time several years ago. Holy cow! I didn't know it was possible to OD on garlic, but I found a way. Can't wait for next time!

I've been writing for quite a number of years, but only started publishing about ten years ago. I love the challenge of creating a story out of something random like a quote or song, and then following where the muse leads. It's never easy, but always rewarding.
