This was my project for the April Rough Trade Challenge (Soulmates). I hit a mental roadblock sometime in week two and never did finish writing it. I'm not sure what triggered the issue, but I haven't looked at it since. There's a bit more here than what was posted on Rough Trade because I tried to push through before I gave up entirely, but it's still only about a quarter of my planned outline.

This was my project for the November Rough Trade Challenge (aka Nano). I didn't finish it, but I felt pretty good about what I'd put down. I had good momentum, I just ran out of month. I hope to revisit this at some point in the future. I'm probably going to add additional scenes with other POVs, because this is currently told entirely from Jim Kirk's POV and I think the story could benefit from some additional scenes to flesh it out.

I've had this idea in my folder for quite some time, but had never been motivated to write it. Last year, as I struggled with finding words, I decided to see if some new ideas would spark a renewal in my writing. I pulled this one out of the file and started writing. There's not much here, but I did find I enjoyed writing it, and it did help me find my creative spark, so I feel like it was worth the effort. I do intend to finish it at some point because I love the idea. For context, this is a WWII-era story, but one without superpowers or Super Soldiers. It's basically an alternate take on how Steve ended up asleep for 70 years. Oh, and it's got soulmates.

This is the master post for my Evil Author Day posts for 2022. Of the stories listed below, I'm planning to finish two of them. Until they're complete, they'll live here for your enjoyment.

For Good and All (The Philadelphia Story): This was my project for the April Rough Trade Challenge (Soulmates).

Forever in a Day (Star Trek AOS): This was my project for the November Rough Trade Challenge (aka Nano).

The Well of Souls (MCU): I've had this idea in my folder for quite some time, but had never had the time to write it. Last year, as I struggled with finding words, I decided to see if some new ideas would spark a renewal in my writing. I pulled this one out of the file and started writing. There's not much here, but I did find I enjoyed writing it, and it did help me find my creative spark, so I feel like it was worth the effort.
