Evil Author Day: Master Post

I did this last year, so I thought I'd do it again this year, just for fun. Also, because it reminded me that I haven't posted since my New Year's round-up, despite saying I would post more often. /headdesk/ I really am going to try to do that, but in the meantime, have a few fics.

House on Fire (The Brave): I wrote this story after seeing The Greater Good, which was the third episode of the season. It takes place right after Moscow Rules, and so follows on with the Dalton/Noah relationship. I liked the two of them together, and went crazy researching Italian marriage laws, because I'd mentioned Italy in the previous story. And then they go to Mexico and I thought, "Perfect, I'll just have them stop in New York on the way back." I'm not in love with the story, though, so this is the only place you'll likely ever see it because I think I'll probably write something else for them in this same vein.

Every Part of Me (Numb3rs): I'm working on this for my Trope Bingo card, but I thought I'd give you a sneak peek if you were interested. I started this ages ago and then got distracted by other things (read: other fandoms). But when my Trope Bingo card had a Reunion square, I thought this would be perfect. It's probably going to end up at around 10,000 words, but lately, that's pretty short for me.

Downton Abbey Snippet (The one with all the kissing): I'd forgotten this draft even existed in my WIP folder until I was looking around for things I could post today. It made me giggle as I was reading it, so I thought I'd share. I'm thinking of finishing it off as my fill for the Kiss square on my Trope Bingo card. It takes place after the Season 5 Christmas episode, and goes AU from there. I liked the idea of Mary/Tom, and almost wish the show had gone there instead of the direction they did go with Mary's love life. Though I do love Matthew Goode (and he's lovely in The Crown, so there's that).
