I borrowed this meme from my friend mustangcandi. For those of you who don't know me, here's your chance to find out the things you never knew you wanted to know.

1. How old will you be in five years?
49? Honestly, I can't even remember how old I am today.

2. Who did you spend at least two hours with today?
My parents.

3. How tall are you?
5'4"

4. What do you look forward to most in the next six weeks?
President's Day (we get the day off at work, so I get to sleep in)

5. What's the last movie you saw?
RED 2 (on Netflix)

6. Who was the last person you called?
A coworker in Folsom.

7. Who was the last person to call you?
The receptionist at my Eye Doctor.

8. What was the last text message you received?
My brother-in-law. He texted a picture of a house for sale in the shadow (literally) of the new 49ers ballpark. Think anyone will want to buy it?

9. Who was the last person to leave you a voice mail?
My sister

10. Do you prefer to call or text?

11. What were you doing at 12am last night?
Sleeping. I know, it was a Friday night, but honestly, I'd been dealing with some monster dizzy spells all week, so all I really wanted to do was sleep.

12. Are your parents married/divorced?
Married. 45 years and they haven't killed each other yet. I'm amazed.

13. When did you last see your mom?
This morning.

14. What color are your eyes?
Hazel

15. What time did you wake up today?
8AM, but then I lounged in bed for an hour reading the news on my iPhone.

16. What are you wearing right now?
Sweat pants, a t-shirt and a fleece. It's been weird in CA lately. Warm-ish during the day and cold at night.

17. What is your favourite Christmas song?
The Carol of the Bells or Little Drummer Boy (check out the video of Pentatonix on YouTube...it's amazing!)

18. Where is your favourite place to be?
The beach, just hanging out.

19. Where is your least favourite place to be?
At work (and yes, I know it sounds ungrateful considering I was unemployed for three years, but if I have to pick, the last place I'd really want to be is at work even though I do love my job).

20. Where would you go if you could go anywhere?
Provence

21. Where do you think you’ll be in 10 years?
Living in my own little bungalow somewhere in the Valley.

22. Do you tan or burn?
Burn. Then tan. But if I have to burn to get tan, no thanks.

23. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?
Don't remember being afraid at night as a child. I guess I was pretty well adjusted.

24. What was the last thing that really made you laugh?
The movie I watched last night (see #5)

25. How many TVs do you have in your house?
Two, but only one of them is hooked up to the satellite dish.

Full

27. Do you have a laptop or desktop computer?
Technically, I have two laptops, though one is my work computer and the other is my personal computer.

White-ish (they really need changing).

Two, but I only actually sleep on one at a time.

Winter

33. What do you like about winter?
The cold. The pretty snow I can admire from my home in the valley without actually having to deal with it. I used to enjoy skiing, but with two bad knees and a bad foot, that's not so much in the cards anymore.

34. What do you like about the summer?
The only redeeming value summer has is that my birthday is in August. Otherwise, I'd gladly skip straight from spring to fall.

35. What do you like about spring?
Not a whole lot, since I have some wicked tree allergies.

36. How many states/provinces have you lived in?
Two. California and Texas.

38. Do you prefer shoes, socks, or bare feet?
Shoes. Bad foot dislikes stocking feet, and barefoot would be even worse.

39. Are you a social person?
When I want to be, but I find large groups exhausting.

Tamales

41. What is your favourite restaurant?
Red Robin. I love their fries!

42. What is your favourite ice cream?
Peppermint Fudge Ripple (peppermint ice cream with fudge swirled through)

43. What is your favourite dessert?
Right now I'd kill for a slice of my cousin's Pecan Pie (with the Bourbon whipped cream, thankyouverymuch).

44. What is your favourite kind of soup?
My father's lamb stew. Does that count?

45. What kind of jelly do you like on your PB & J sandwich?
Ew. Honey with peanut butter, if you please.

Yes

Yes. Vanilla Latte is my absolute favorite coffee drink.

48. How many glasses of water a day do you drink on average?
Two or three (I should probably drink more, but to be fair, I'm talking about 12-16 ounces per glass)

I have played before. Does that mean I know how to actually play? No.

Yes

Depends. Are we talking chocolate or fanfiction? Because if that's the case, the answer's yes. Otherwise, I don't think so.

56. Do you eat out or at home more often?
At home. If your father was as good a cook as mine, you'd never leave the house either.

58. Do you know anyone with the same birthday as you?
No, oddly enough.

59. Do you want kids?
I used to want five kids. Then I grew up. Now? If I have them, that's okay. If not, that's okay, too.

60. Do you speak any other languages?
French, Spanish, a little German.

No

62. Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?
No (thank God)

63. Do you prefer an ocean or a pool?
The ocean, but only to look at. I don't enjoy swimming, so pools aren't really much fun for me. Plus, I burn, remember?

64. Do you prefer a window seat or an aisle seat?
Window seat. It gives you something more to lean on when you're sleeping.

65. Do you know how to drive stick?
Yes. My first car was a stick shift.

66. What is your favourite thing to spend money on?
Make-up. And books.

67. Do you wear any jewelry 24/7?
I take it all off before I go to bed and put on different stuff (mostly) before I leave the house the next day.

68. What is your favourite TV show?
Do I have to pick just one? Okay, okay. If I have to pick, I'd have to say Star Trek. I was raised watching it, and it's still my first sci-fi love.

No

Probably. My mother's a pack-rat.

I can add more oil. Does that count?

One ticket for crossing the double yellow line. I was speeding too, but the cop let that slide. Still had to do traffic school. Ugh.

11:30 pm

Tom Clancy's Dead or Alive (not finished yet, but it's pretty good)

Yes

Yes. Sci Fi Magazine (why yes, my fangirl is showing)

God no.

No

The picture of my nephews visiting Santa.

93. What was the last note you scribbled on a piece of paper?
I keep my to-do list on paper, so probably some task or other for work

94. What is your favourite candle scent?
Candles irritate my sinuses, so sadly, no candles. Also, my dad was paranoid we'd burn the house down, so I've never really had them around.

95. What is your favourite board game?
The Game of Life (though I haven't played since grade school)

97. When was the last time you attended church?
I...can't remember. That's bad, isn't it?

98. Who was your favourite teacher in high school?
My senior Econ teacher. First thing every class he'd look out at us and ask, "Any questions? Any problems? Anything bugging or bothering you?" If there was ever anything going wrong in our lives, we knew we could go to him. I loved that.

99. What is the longest you have ever camped out in a tent?
A week. It was horrible, and I was ten years old.

100. Who was the last person to do something extra special for you?
My mom. That's just how she rolls.
