What I'm Going to Be Watching This Fall

So, I was reading on The Motley Fool (what? I read lots of stuff. So sue me) about how AoS could be HUGE for Disney, in terms of establishing a franchise that covers all their entertainment bases (tv, movies, comics, etc). Seems like there's a lot riding on this show, and success or failure is going to be narrowly measured. Makes me kinda worried, since I'm really looking forward to the show (because #CoulsonLives is now canon, y'all!). Still, if Joss Whedon and his creative team can't pull this off, who can? I realize there are those who don't always get or agree with JW, but he does put on a great show with strong characters and great moments (especially his female characters... Buffy... Firefly... Dollhouse).

If you've been following me on Archive of Our Own (go on, I'll wait) then you know I've become an Avengers fan. I never was growing up (don't read comics, but I did watch Spider Man cartoons... does that count?) but I am now. I'm looking forward to expanding the universe built in the movies, and seeing the stories told between the epic throw-downs. This is where my fic tends to live, so it's entirely appropriate and I can't wait.
